NACHTHUND'S WORLD PAPER MONEY

STANDARD CATALOG OF WORLD PAPER MONEY

VOL III, 13th ED. - CHANGES

Presented by Ronny Hick

The following are changes which have been made in the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money, VOL 3, 12th Edition. If any additional changes are notes we request that you notify us at rlgatto@yahoo.com so that they may be added. Any new additions to this report will be indicated NEW ADDITION:

Afghanistan: No changes

Albania: No changes

Algeria: Values for older issues (up to P-125) are now higher.

Angola: P-143 - P-148 more expensive.

Argentina: No changes

Armenia: P42 is listed twice, first for the 100 Dram 1998, then the 50 Dram from 1998. P41 is missed with both notes listed as P42. Be carefully if you trust the catalog values for used conditions! Almost any price is wrong, it's lower than face value! 50 Dram (P-35 in VF) = face value $0.14. 100 Dram (P-36 in VG and VF; P-43 in VG) = face value $0.29 200 Dram (P-37 in VG and VF) = face value $0.57. 500 Dram (P-38 in VG and VF; P-44 in VG and VF) = face value $1.44. 1.000 Dram (P-39 in VG and VF; P-45 in VG and VF; P-50 in VG) = face value $2.88. 5.000 Dram (P-40 in VG, VF and unc; P-46 in VG and VF; P-51 in VG) = face value $14.00. 10.000 Dram (P-52 in VG) = face value $28.00 20.000 Dram (P-47 in VG, VF and unc) = face value $57.00. 50.000 Dram (P-48 in VG and VF) = face value $140.00.

Aruba: The 1990 and 1993 issues are now somewhat higher in value.

Australia: Values have increased across the board. P46h has risen from $40 to $70. In addition Polymer notes have increased, P56 from $8 to $16. However, none of the new polymer notes have been reported.

Austria: No Changes. No value is listed for the “little Kaplan” (P140). Only Specimen prices are available in very fine and UNC. Specimen banknotes do not circulate, so why a value for circulated Specimen notes.

Azerbaijan: The new Manat issues have not been reported, no changes.

Bahamas: Values have increased considerably. P62a has increased from $15.00 to $22.50; P66 is now $120, up from $85.00. New issues are included, and some banknotes have been renumbered; P70 is now P63b; P65 from 2000 is now P65A; P70 is now P71, and P72 is now P73. On the P73 10 dollars the description now reads incorrectly “Stafford Sands” portrait when in fact it is QEII. The values for the P70 1 Dollar 2002 is missing. In the 12th Ed. The 2001 date is listed for $4.00.

Bahrain: Some values have increased. P16 2nd Issue remains the same value at $10.00.

Bangladesh: At first glance it seems they have changed P32 and P33, however they have listed P33 before P32.

Barbados: No Changes

Belarus: Values have increased; P1 to $0.50, P2 to $4, and P4 to $2. P10 is now $8 ($1 in the 12th Ed.), P21 through P23 now $1 each.
EDITOR’S NOTE: These price increases are hard to believe since these notes, when first released, were offered to dealers by the thousands, and even now are available in stacks of 100 by wholesalers for a fraction of these values. Purchase any batch of 100 mixed foreign notes for $0.10 each and you will find these notes included.

Belgium: No Changes

Belize: Value adjustments, usually upward. In one case however the P61a has been decreased to $15.00 from $20.00.

Bermuda: Few price adjustments, P-56 now $95, otherwise unchanged.

Bhutan: Unchanged! Naturally the 2006 series is not included yet.

Biafra: Unchanged

Bolivia: Unchanged up to P-227, which has been raised from $5 to $60.

Bosnia-Herzegovina: Unchanged

Botswana: Unchanged

Brazil: Signature table unchanged. Values up to P-248 unchanged same as 12th Edition. The values for P248a have decreased from $25 to $15, and P248b from $15 to $10. P252 – P255 are included again, but these notes do not exist. However some varieties of other banknotes like P244A, and P245A do exist, and they are not listed.

British Caribbean Territories: The zeroes have been dropped in the high values such as 1750 instead of 1750.00 which could cause some confusion.

British Honduras: Zeros were eliminated. P-29b and P-29c price increase. Otherwise unchanged.

British West Africa: British west Africa: A new country added. A P-12 (20 Shillings 17.04.1962)! Without picture, but printed by TDLR! Price in VG $12.50, in VF $35 and in unc $225.

Brunei: Small price adjustments.

Bulgaria: Unchanged, the value for the new 20 Leva 2005 is not listed.

Burma: Unchanged

Burundi: In 1995 Burundi issued a a 500 Franc banknote dated 05.02.1995 with the portrait of Melchior Ndadaye on it, however the note was not released till 2005 due to his assassination. There also exists another 600 Franc banknote with the dates of 1997, 1999, and 2004. These notes have on the front of them native paintings. They are two different banknotes. In the SCWPM VOL III, 13th Ed. They have combined these two banknotes making the Ndadaye note P38a, and the 1997, 1999, and 2004 notes as P38b through P38d. The image shown in the catalog is the Ndadaye note, but the description is from the 1997 note.

Cambodia: Now there is a P-17A? That is strange. Thousands of notes from the middle of the seventies: "lp (1974). Brown, tan, yellow and green. Marks bust RK right. Building on back,. University south. Only released starting in 2005". A value is given in unc only - $25. Thousands of 2005 became P-58, value $2,25 in unc, otherwise FV. Otherwise unchanged.

Cameroun: Values increased, some almost double. P-16d goes from $17.50 to $25.00, P-7 is now $1,850 in XF. P-18b in VG increases from $10 to $20, and in unc decreases from $250 to $225.

Canada: Values increased slightly. P102b is now $12.50, P104 is now $65. The issue of 5 Dollar 2006, the one with the holographic strip is now P101A, while the 5 Dollars 2005 issues with othr signatures than P101 remain unlisted.

Cape Verde: Unchanged. The values for Issue 2002 and beyond are not listed.

Cayman Islands: The Banknotes of Cayman Islands have continued to increase in value. For example P-14 landed now with $75. Issues of 2005/2006 are known, but P34a ($5) isn’t from 2006, it is from 2005.

Central African Republic: While in previous editions of the SCWPM the banknotes of the Central African Republic have increased in value from year to year. In this edition they remain the same.

Central African States: Unchanged except for Signature Chart. The signatures of the "Censeur" for Signature 19 and 20 have been omitted.

Ceylon: Unchanged

Chad: Values have increased considerably. P-10Ac went from $12.50 to $25.00!

Chile: Until 2005 no value changes, lists P154, P155 and P157 now.

China: They must have run out of ink for the images of the Fen issues from 1953. They did not delete the banknotes, but it almost looks like a page without images. They deleted the P896 (2 Yuan, the expected new issue from 1999), the number is now held in reserve. What happened to the Yuan Series from 2005 which were listed as "Expected New Issue"?

China (Taiwan): Unchanged except 500 and 1,000 Yuan of 2005 are listed (P-1996 with $25 and P-1997 with $40), says however that the year is in the plain language on the note. I do not find it.

Colombia: For P430 there is no difference in the design of the numeral. The "2000" for P430a looks different than on the P430d. They have now listed the issues up to 2005, but not the smaller 1,000 and 2,000 Pesos from 2005. The 10,000 Pesos 08.06.2003 is now P435a; 2,000 Pesos 19.02.2004 is now P451b (Because of the mark for the blind); 1,000 Pesos 02.03.2005 is now included in P450a.

Comoros: The issues to P-14 increase in the prices. 2,500 francs P-13 are now worth $35, to P-11b $15.00. They have added the new series of 2005/2006, but without images, and several errors are noted: P15 is a 500 Francs from 2006, CV $5; P16 is missing, the number is not even there. For the P17 they list it as a 2,500 Francs, but it is a 2,000 Francs note, and there is no date 01.01.2005. CV $25.00. P18 is a 5,000 Francs, expected new issue, and P19 is a 10,000 Francs, value $65.00.

Congo Democratic Republic: The different 100 Franc notes from 2000 are now listed! The P92 is the one printed by G&D, P92A is the one printed by HdM. However, the problem seems to be the catalog value. With the number of these notes reaching the collector’s market now a value of $75 is too much. The same is true for the 50 Francs, P91, and P91A (P91 from G&D has a Catalog Value of $45, P91A CV $45.) Newly listed is the 20 Francs 2003 by G&D. P94 is a 20 Francs 2003 from HdM. P95 is now correctly the 20 Francs without printer’s notice, but the catalog value of $0.75 is to low. P96 500 Francs is without printer’s notice, but again the catalog value of $3.25 is to low. Also new is the P90A, 100 Francs from 1997, printed by HdM with a CV of $75. P90 is the old one, printed in Belgium with a CV of $75.

Congo Republic: Unchanged

Cook Islands: One set the smaller values (to $10) upward with both series. P-3 now $6,50, P-7 now $6. P3 – P5 is the first series, P7 – P10 is the second series.

Costa Rica: P-257a and P-258 each case are about $1 upward. No word of the 2003, or 2004 issues.

Croatia: Has someone at Krause purchased a bunch of notes per 100 that they want to make a profit on? First Belarus, now value increases on Croatia where these common notes are still being offered at wholesale prices in stacks of 100? Within a year the P-16 (1 dinar) increased in value from $0.10 to $0.50, with all the Dinara issue increasing. Here is the highlight; the 100,000 Dinara has gone from $0.75 (even that was to high) to $5. With the Kuna no changes, except with the P-40 which has gone to $18.00. Naturally the P-43 and P-44 are still "expected new issue". The Krajina Issues went upward, but not so much, $1, $2. However, why the one down-grade in value of the P-R25 (100 million Dinara) from $5 to $1? I do not know!

Cuba: Many of the current issues for peso remain unknown, with only the 1 peso 2004 (P-124, $1.50) and 100 pesos 2004 (P-125, $100.00) added. With an exchange rate on the 100 Pesos note at $3.77, a value of $100.00 is unrealistic for a recent issue. The 100 Pesos of 2000 is valued at $8, the 2001 100 Pesos at $15, and the 2004 at $100.00? Still some confusion with the FX Issues in the D-series. The 2006 Issues of the pesos Convertibles has listed the P-FX52 now as P-FX46 -, the prices are plausible (1 peso $2,50, 20 pesos $35.00, 100 pesos $150.00).

Cyprus: With Cyprus soon to covert to the Euro values have increased for uncirculated notes. The 20 Pound note of 2004 has increased to $110.00, and the last 50 Cent issues of 1987 to 1989 are now listed at $13.00.

Czechoslovakia: Unchanged

Czech Republic: Unchanged

27 Jun, 2007 - Czech Republic: Someone at Krause Publications is not checking the exchange rates when calculating the current issue values for the Czech Republic in their new VOL III, 13th Editon. 50Kr = FV $2.34 CAT $3.00; 100Kr = FV $4.69 CAT $6.00; 200Kr = FV $9.38 CAT $12.00; 500Kr = FV $23.45 CAT $28.00; 1000Kr = FV $46.92 CAT $60.00; 2000Kr = FV $93.84 CAT $100.00; 5000Kr = FV $234.60 CAT $250.00. Compliments of Richard Gatto.

Denmark: SCWPM has now added all the missing varieties for P44! P45 also has varieties up to the letter h, and 10 different replacements are now listed. The same is true for P46, up to letter f, and 7 replacements are known. Prices for the animal series are unchanged. For the the current banknotes, a lot of varieties are know, but the 200 Kroner from 2004 is missing.

Djibouti: P36 – P39 prices increased slightly, otherwise unchanged.

Dominican Republic: Only a few changes. With P168 the years of 2001 to 2003 are now listed. However the differences with P168 between all years are not listed; 2001 has a small border, not the wide border! 2002 has ascending serial # on bottom left. 2003 has a serial # with a regular font on bottom left. Three different banknotes for one catalog number, unbelievable.

East Africa: The unc value for P-45 went upward around $5 to $90 . Otherwise unchanged.

East Caribbean States: Moderate value increases for the series of 2000, value reductions for the series 2003.

Ecuador: Once again SCWPM has failed to correctly organize the numbering for this country, or correct the images. No changes, no new data.

Egypt: It appears that no attempt has been made to update the listings for Egypt which are about five years behind, or to correct the numerous errors in the listings. No Change!

El Salvador: P-120 rose to $9, P-125a to $8.50, P-126a to $12, P-133Aa to $7, P-135a to $8, P-136a to $15, P-138a to $5, which are small value increases. The 1997 Colones is somewhat higher in value along with the 25 Colones. No changes with the 1999 series. What is unrealistic are the low values given for the notes of this popular country.

Equatorial African States: Here nothing was done except to remove the ".00" from the values.

Equatorial Guinea: Value increases across the board, but only moderately (P4 – P6 now $7.00 rather then $5.00).

Eritrea: Values up to P6 unchanged, P7 and P8 have now been added. Catalog value, such as the 1997 issues are indicated in only one value (UNC), and suggests that this issue does not circulate. At least FV should be added for the lesser grades.

Estonia: Unchanged! Editor’s Note: With the high face value of the current circulating banknotes, the values given seem to indicate that a collector can just walk into their local banks, no matter what country they live in, and obtain uncirculated banknotes from this country. It is no wonder, that with low catalog values, few of these notes are offered on dealer’s price lists.

Ethiopia: Unchanged

European Union: Unchanged! The SCWPM does not differentiate between the Duisenberg (Signature 1), and the current Trichet (Signature 2). In actuality he notes with Sign. 1 are selling at approximately 20% higher then Sign. 2 in UNC.

Faeroe Islands: Unchanged

Falkland Islands: Increased values! P10a went to $60.00 from $35.00; P10b to $50 from $30.00; P11a $475.00 from $325.00; P13 went to $45.00 from $35.00. The 2005 issues have been listed, P17 with a value of $32.50.

Fiji: The nightmare in renumbering from last year continues. This year there are better images, with more resolution, and with more details. Only a few from the newer notes have risen in value; P98b is now $25 (up from $18.50), P100a now $75 (up from $65). They have deleted the wrong image for P98, but not for P97. The image for this banknote shows P93. P93 shows P91, P94 shows P92. Another little change is the P101 with signature Narube, Variety b. The links in subject line for P-104 - P-108 reference to P-104 to P-108, while last year they wrote this in the description also they eliminated the wrong links this year. Maybe they should start from scratch in preparing the next edition since they seem to get so confused.

Finland: Value changes in both directions. Slight increases, P104a is now $9.00 instead of $8.00, P106Aa is $4.00 instead of $2.50. Some of the decreases in values are P115a is now only $40.00 (was $55.00); P119 is now $27.50 (was $35.00), and P121 $225.00 (was $250.00). Editors Note: It is difficult to understand why the values of these current circulating, high denominational notes should drop at a time when the dollar continues to drop in value making the FV higher. With the low catalog value it is no wonder that few of these beautiful notes are on dealers price lists.

France: What is so unusual about P146a that has caused the value of the note to jump to $10 / $60 / $200 (before $5/$10/$100)? P151b has gone from $20 to $25.00. All other banknotes unchanged, except P151b has decreased in value to $25.00. For P157a (Value $30.00), and b (Value $25.00), one has to wonder why they only list the notes in Uncirculated condition, and not also in VG, and VF.

French Afars and Issas: No Change except they have deleted the “.00” in the values.

French Antilles: Value increases for P5a $350 from $250, and in Specimen $250 from $125, and also P10 is now $1,150 instead of $900.

French Guiana: Unchanged except they have removed the images. Must have run out of space.

French Pacific Territories: No Changes have been made for this section. So many varieties are know, but not listed.

Gabon: No Change

Gambia: Signature Table unchanged. Up to P19 everything remains the same. P20 to P24 are divided now into three varieties, the a. variety are signature 13, the b. variety is signature 14, and the c. variety is now signature 15. Signature 15 is not included in the Signature Table. The values are the same regardless of signature for P20 $2.00, P21 $3.50, P23 $10.00 and P24 $10.00. The exception is P22. There Signature 13 is now $6.00, and others with $4.00. P23 with signatures 13, and 14 don’t exist in uncirculated according to SCWPM. In the line for the VF you will find the word "UNC", and in the UNC row you will find the value. For other banknotes it is the sign that those banknotes do exist in unciculated condition only (Collector sets, specimens, and so on.) The 2006 Issues are not listed yet.

Georgia: The second coupon series (P33 to P38, except P35) increased in value. P33 is now $1, and P27 is now $2.00. Everything else, up to the 100 Lari 2004, remains the same. The 100 Lara 2004 is now $110.00. P72 200 Lari 2004 is now listed VG $130, VF $150, and UNC $175 (Down from $200). Editor’s Note: With an exchange rate for the 200 Lari 2004 at $119.70 I think I will go to the local exchange office and pick up a few circulated notes. Maybe I will get lucky and pick up a few AU I can sell on eBay for $160.00. As for the Second Coupon Series, what happened? Did the market absorb all those thousands of notes that were being offered wholesale?

Germany - Federal Republic: Series of 1960 remains unchanged as well as other series.

Germany - Democratic Republic: Unchanged

Ghana: Unchanged! The P36c is the 2006 issue of the 20 Cedis ($12.50). Other values not given.

Gibraltar: The current issues went up in value slightly: P-25 $35 ($30), P-26 $60 ($55), P-27 $110 ($100), P-28 $200 ($180), P-29 $35 ($30), P-30 $57,50 ($50), P-31 $110 ($100). Thus nothing dramatic.

Great Britain: Smaller price adjustments, P-378c now $35 ($32.50) or P-382a $35 ($27.50). The Adams 20 Pound note is not listed. Military notes remain the same.

Greece: P-195s now $150 ($45); P-196s now $150 ($100); P-198b VG $1 ($3), VF $2 ($10) and unc $10 ($30); P-199s $150 ($50); P-200s $150 (new listing) P-201r $150 ($100); P-201s $150 ($50); P-202a unc $6; P-202s $150 ($50); P-203a unc $45; P-204s $150 ($100); P-205a unc $35 ($30); P-206a unc $65.

Greenland: A new country for VOL. III. They added the P18 from the VOL II, P20.

Guatemala: Value increases with P-51 ($35), P-52 ($35), P-90 ($2.50), P-96s (retake, $75), P-97s (retake, $75). Price reduction with the P-106 ($2.50). The 2006 Issues are not listed, nor is the 1992 issue of P77.

Guernsey: There can be only one direction for Guernsey, upward! P-42a to $550 ($400) for example, P-46b $170 ($120), P-48a $20 ($10), P-52c $7 ($5.50), P-58a $80 ($60), P-60 $20 ($17.50).

Guinea: Unchanged. Unfortunately the image for P15A is now missing.

Guinea-Bissau: Unchanged

Guyana: Unchanged except that with P35 the description is changed to indicate that the note exists with the signatures 11, and 12.

Haiti: Almost no changes. The 2004 Issue now lists Specimen varieties, but without values. The P273a is listed as "20 Gourdes", but the note is a 25 Gourdes. There are corrections as to the years P265 was issued. Replaced the 2005 Issues with 2000, and 2004, and P266 2004.

Honduras: A few value changes; P-77 decreased to $17.50 ($25) and P-77b to $20 ($25), P-78a rose to $95 ($90), P-83 rose to $5 ($4.50), P-84 rose to $1 ($0.75), P-85 rose to $1.75 ($1.25), P-86 rose to $2.75 ($2.50), P-87 rose to $4.50 ($4) and P-88 rose to $9.50 ($6.50). 2 Lempiras 2004 is now also P-80A. The 20 Lempiras from 26.08.2004 is a completely new banknote, but in this edition it is integrated into the P87. It is not a variety, it has several changes on the front and reverse side. The 50 Lempiras from the same date is not listed.

Hong Kong: Smaller price adjustments, P-73b rose in all grades; in VG $5 ($1.50), $15 ($6.50) in VF, and $45 in unc ($27.50). In addition, more current notes rose, P-202d to $12 ($10), P-203c to $25 ($20), P-207 to $6 ($5), P-209 to $25 ($20), P-287d around $5 to $25, P-293 to $25 ($22.50), P-330 to $16 ($12.50), P-331 to $30 ($22.50), P-336 to $15 ($12.50) and P-337 to $25 ($22.50). Newer varieties of the last series are mostly missing with only the P-207 and P-208 being indicated with the 2005 date.

Hungary: The new issues for the 500, 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 Forint are now listed up to 2006. The 2,000 and 20,000 Forint up to 2005. The commemorative issue is now listed as P194 with a value of $10. The date, however, is incorrect. It is not from 23.10.1956! That was the day when the people raised up against the communist regime. The banknote was issued on 23.10.2006 after 50 years. This date you can find on the front side, on the reverse you will find the date of 1956. Why did they integrate the 2006 vrsion of the 1,000 Forint into P189? This is a different note from the previous issues due to the wide holographic strip on the front. It should be a new catalog number, and the value of $15.00 is to high. For P187e serial prefix range does not stop at "FC" since there are banknotes with the prefix of "FD" on them.

Iceland: Some values have changed a little; P-45a is now $7,25 ($7), P-46a $16,25 ($11), P-47a $37,50 ($35.50), P-55 $13 ($12.50), P-57 $41,50 ($40), P-58 $87,50 ($90!), P-60 $16 ($20!). The rest is unchanged. On the Signature Chart they stop with Signature 56, but there are three new signatures which are not listed. Also there are many erros in the listed signatures: E. Guthnason has two different signatures (54 is different than 55). S. Hermansson has two different signatures (55 is different from 56). I believe that Signature 54 is OK, 55 is Hermannson, and an unknown signature. 56 is Guthnason and the same unknown signature.

India: It appears that SCWPM has not updated India since 2004.

Indonesia: They changed only two things in the catalog. In the 12th Edition they listed P143 as "expected new issue". Now it is listed with a value of $5.50. They have also listed the 1,000 Rupiah from 2005 as P141f with a CV of $0.50. None of the other new notes are listed however. There is no listing for the 10,000 Rupiah 2005, nor the 50,000 Rupiahs from 2005, and all the date varieties from the current series. Also there is a 1,000 Rupiah from 1964 which they have not included.

Iran: There are price changes only for a few banknote, for instance the P91b is now $18.00 which is an increase of $3.00. Signatures 29 – 32 are not listed in the signature chart, and, of course, no new banknotes are listed. For P137A they have again missed the note with signature 28 (listed in Vol III, 11th Ed., missing since VOL III, 12th Edition. For P143a there is no longer "Sign.25", now it reads "Famideh (youth)", but that is the watermark. The b. variety for P147 is now unlisted, but it does exist and has been previously listed as P147b. For P148 they changed the description from "Large Sign. 31" to "Signature 31" . None of the 50,000 Rials and their varieties are listed.

Iraq: No changes, but a couple of suggestions for SCWPM: With so few being able to read Arabic they should show the difference between P84, and P85 with an image as they do in the Saudi Arabia section. All banknoes with Saddam on them have the value only in UNC condition. Also there is no change for the key note P76 (CV $40.00).

P-7, P-8, P-132, P-133, P-135, P-331, P-335 - P-337 now with varieties. P-187 - P-192 are differentiated now according to the signatures, no longer by the data. They have corrected the problem with the wrong reverse for the P78 (They were showing a banknote from the Republic of Ireland). The wrong links for P74 through P76 are still not corrected (The link for P76 is going to P76.) The 1994 issue of P70a is still not listed. The 10 Pounds of the Northern Bank from 1996 is now P194c, 10 Pounds 1999 from Ulster Bank is now P336b. Often you don’t find in the description the full date range, you have to look to the varieties. The banknote commemorating George Best is unlisted, the Series from the Northern Bank of 2005 is now listed (P206 to P209, catalog value with $30 starting.

Isle of Man: P-13 now $750 (from $400), P-25a $140 ($110), P-28a $60 ($55), P-33a $12 ($7), P-38 $25 ($22.50), P-41a $60 ($35). P45a has been reduced $10.00 to $60.00. In the 12th Edition the P42 was listed with only the b. Signature 6 variety. This has been corrected by eliminating the b.

Israel: The P49b has increased in value in circulated condition. P-59b sank to $15 ($18), the A-variant $18 (down $2); P-60b likewise around $2 less to $28 and P-62b around $10 lower to $90. Series of 2006 is not listed.

Italy: Listing are out of order with P95, then P93, 94, and then P96, 97, then P99, P100 following P98, and P101. P4 is getting more and more expensive, a and c with a plus of $100, and b with a plus of $200 (now $1,500). They have deleted the subject for the P43 since this banknote is not a commemorative issue. Dates for P41, P42, and P44 are now listed with dates up to 01.06.2005. For P33 they have corrected the date from 01.01.1995 to 01.07.1995.

Korea, South: P53 is a cheque, with a value of 1 Million Won. They have reduced the catalog value from $1,250 to $125. Now they have listed P54, and in the subject line reads "2004 Bank Cheque", however this 5,000 Won note is not a check, it is a regular banknote (CV $9.00). Some other errors for this banknote include it is from 2006, not 2005, and what is with the description, "multicolor". Of course every banknote is multicolored, and has more then one color on it.

Kuwait: P-9a values increase to $120 (from $100), P-23 to $4 ($3), P-24 to $7 ($6), P-25 to $11 ($10), P-26 $42 ($40), P-27 $80 ($75), P-28 $120 ($110). No additional changes.

Kyrgyzstan: P1 has increased in value to $0.75 from $0.50. Again SCWPM has increased the value of a note that can be found in just about every lot of 100 misc. banknotes. P22 is also increased in value. In VG they list the value as FV, which is currently $5.27! In VF the value is now $4.00, and UNC is now $8.00, up from $7.50. If you have any in VF they are worth more exchanging them for dollars then as a collector’s item.

Laos: Some sharp increases in catalog values, P-10a in VG $25 (From $7.50), VF $60 ($22.50), unc $125 ($50) P-15s $375 ($350), P-18s $600 ($500). P-34 is likewise differentiated, only that the value remains at $3. P-35 is differentiated between 2002 and 2003, A and b in each case with a value of $5. P-36 is differentiated between 2002 and 2003, A and b in each case with a value of $9. Then there is P-37 again. The description: "2004. Brown and orange and rose on multicolor underprint". Catalog value $25 unc, otherwise FV. They indicate it as a 20,000 Kip when it should be 50,000.

Latvia: Unchanged even though with the sinking dollar, the face value of the current notes have increased in value.

Lebanon: Some small value increases: P-65d from $2 to $2.50, the C-variant $3; P-66c to $4 (From $3), P-66d to $2.50 (From $1.75); P-69a $4 ($3); P-76 $20 ($17.50). The 50.000 and 100,000 Livres are still missing unfortunately. They have also listed the years for the 1,000 and 5,000 Livres of 2004, which is correct, and the 10,000 and 20,000 Livres 2005, which is not correct. They are also 2004.

Lesotho: No Change

Liberia: For the series 2003 in subject line you can now read '2 sign. varieties'. P-28 now with date 2004. P-29 is completely missed once again. All other issues of years 2002($50), 2004 and 2006 are not listed. Now why do they know the 2 different signatures? Series 2004 has indeed another signature than 2003.

Libya: A few changes; P-60c now $15 ($12.50). There is a sharp increase in value for the P-32 to $1.500 (From $1.200), P-50 to $35 (From $27.50).

Malawi: P-36a, dated 01.07.1997, is now $1.25, and P-36b, dated 01.03.2004, 01.12.2005 is worth $0,50. P-43 is now listed with three variants (all $1,50), and the dates 01.01.2003, 01.10.2003 and 01.06.2004. P-44 is now with three variants (A $3,00, b and C $2), and the dates 01.10.2001, 01.04.2004 and 01.06.2004. P-45 is now with three variants, and the dates 01.10.2001 ($4), 01.01.2003 ($2.75) and 31.10.2005 ($2). P-46 is now with two variants and, the dates 01.10.2001 ($10), and 01.01.2003 ($5). P-47 is now with three variants, and the dates 01.07.2001 ($15), 01.10.2003 ($9) and 01.06.2004 ($7). P-48 is confusing a little. In the description they indicate that there is are the dates 01.12.2001, 01.06.2003, and 01.11.2005. The A-variant covers the date 01.12.2001 (holographic square RK left), value $30. Then the P-48A continues with a date for the b. of 01.06.2003 (holographic strip RK right), value $17,50 and c. of 01.11.2005, value $15. P-49 climbed to $5.

Malaya & British Borneo: A few dramatic value increases: P-8a in VF $25 ($20), and unc $150 ($120) have risen. P-8A in VF $40 ($12.50) and unc $75 ($60) have risen. P-41 in unc $17.50 ($22), P-42 to $35 ($40), P-43 $60 ($70), P-44 $120 ($140), P-45b to $12 and P45c to $10, P-46b to $27.50 unc, P46c. to $22.50, P-47b to $52.50 and P47c to $45, P-48 to $90 ($120). P-49 and P-50 rose slightly to $24,50 and $35. The signature of Ellul remains unlisted.

Mauritania: The first Series has increased in value, P-3 is now at $175. Also the Specimen Issues have increased. Otherwise unchanged.

Mauritius: The issues with QEII have increased, while the current issues have decreased in value. P-49 is now $2,50 (was $3.50), P-50a $6,00 (was $7.50), P-51a $10 (was $15) etc. to P-55 with $125 (down from $195). P-50c, the date of 2003, forgotten in the last catalog, is now listed at $5.00 in UNC. With the "2001 Issue" they have corrected the denominations, but still refer to the denomination in Dollars instead of Rupees. P-56 of 2001 is now only worth $6 (From $22.50), and P-57 $12,50 ($22.50).

Mexico: Up to P115 everything remains the same. P116 now has four varieties listed, again is c. (26.03.2002, Series U, two bars), and D (23.05.2003, Series V, two short bars) with values of $4.50 each. Starting with P117 there is no change.

Moldova: P8, and P10 are now lised with the year 2006, otherwise no change.

Mongolia: Unchanged in values. The error of listing the P69, 10,000 Tugrik with the year 2003 remains. The issues of 2002 are better illustrated.

Morocco: The signature table ends with Signature 12, however several notes are listed with signatures 13 – 16. The only change is that now P68 has a value of $4.50 listed (It was listed as "Expected New Issue".

Mozambique: Unchanged

Mozambique: P121 10 Meticas, Picture of Papua New Guinea 20 kina reverse shown in error. Submitted by David White, 20 Jun, 2007.

Myanmar: Unchanged

Namibia: Unchanged.

Nepal: The Signature Chart remains unchanged. P31b is now listed with Signature 14, with P34 this signature is missing. On P34 this signature is also missing. In the 12th Edition the listed two varieties of P46, the first one with the darker portrait, and the second with the brighter portrait of the king. Now they have only show the brighter portrait, and in the description they write "portrait is darkly engraved". The notes with the darker portrait have been withdrawn from circulation, and are now difficult to obtain. Many of the current varieties of notes are unlisted.

Netherlands: Unchanged.

Netherlands Antilles: P-20a and P-21a have made still another jump upward in value. P20a is now $10 (Up from $8.50), and P21a is now $20.00 (Up from $17.50). Also increased in value are P29c ($50.00 instead of $40.00), P24b ($100.00 instead of $85.00), and P22a ($35.00 up from $30.00).

New Caledonia: For New Caledonia each note has increased in value in each grade. Particarly drastic is the P60 which has doubled in each variety, and P64a which in each variety has increased $125.00, tripling the values.

New Hebrides: Here also there are increases in value. P19a is now $150, up from $45.00. In VG condition P16 is now $15.00, up from $7.50.

The polymer values do not differ from the last edition of SCWPM. The $5 is now listed with the date 1999; 10 dollars with 1999, 2003, and 2004; 20 Dollars with 1999, 2003; 50, and 100 Dollars with 1999. For the last series, in the 12th Edition there were many erros with the images, this has been corrected in the 13th Edition.

Nicaragua: Unchanged. The 2006 issues are not listed. P-178Aa and P-178Ba don’t exist, these banknotes are specimen only. The value of $50, and $90 for these notes is a wonder.

Nigeria: The Signature Chart only goes up to Signature 13. Notes values are unchanged to P-23. P-24, 5 Naira, varieties from I through k. Value in each case is $1.75. Variety i. is 2004, Signature 12, j. is 2005 with Signature 12, and k. is 2005 with signature 13. Caution however! f is again "ND, sign. 11"and thus the old f is now g and the old g is now h! P-25, 10 Naira: Variants again from h to i. With g "signature 12" was added. h is 2004, and i is 2005, both without indication of signature. Worth in each case $3. P-26, 20 Naira: new variants from h to j, value likewise $3? Variety f. is, that of 2001, with signature 11 - just like g of 2003. h is 2003 with signature 12, i of 2004 with signature 12 and j of 2005. P-27, 50 Naira: new variety e, value $6.50. 2005, signature 13. P-28, 100 Naira: new variety, with c one added signature 11, and with d signature 12. e is now 2005 with signature 13, value $8. P-29, 200 Naira: those are now three variants, in each case $10. a. is 2000 with signature 11, b is 2003 with signature 12 and c 2005 with signature 13. P-30, 500 Naira: those are likewise three variants, in each case $18. a. is 2001 with signature 11, b is 2002 with signature 12 and c is 2005 with signature 13. 1,000 Naira is not listed.

Norway: The only change is the P52 1,000 Kronor where the value rose from $180 to $250.

Oman: P-31 increases from $0.50 to $1.75, even in VF is now worth $1. P-32 increases from $1 to $3, in VF it is worth $1,50. P-33 goes to $7 (From $3.50) and in VF $4.50. P-34 goes likewise to $7 (From $6), and VF likewise changes to $4.50. The commemorative banknote of 1 Rial is once again missing.

Pakistan: No change, the 2005/2006 series has not been added.

Papua New Guinea: Unchanged, the 100 Kina, and varieties remain unlisted.

Paraguay: Up to P-225 SCWPM remains unchanged. P-226 is the 2005 1,000 printed by De La Rue, $2.00. P-227 is the 2005 5,000 printed by De La Rue, $5.00. P-228 is the 20,000 of 2005. For P228 through P230 they use the term “Multicolor” which means they do not have a description. At the moment SCWPM lists two 20,000 Guaranies, but only one exists. It is not the P225, only the P228 from 2005 exists in reality. Or maybe the P228 is a mistake, and should be 50,000 Guaranies from 2005. But this banknote does not circulate because of a big robbery during shipment from Europe to Paraguay so the Central Bank called all Guaranies Series C from 2005 as worthless. P229 are the 100,000 Guaranies, but from De La Rue, and the catalog value given in UNC of $10 is foolish. The P230 are again 100,000 Guaranies, but from 2005, and printed by Oberthur. Again, the same wrong catalog value of $10. For P224 they have eliminated the abbreviation "CCSR" which is unknown, and replaced it with "TDLR". P222 is not from 2004, it’s 2003. In 2004 TDLR printed the 1,000 Guaranties. This fact is not printed in the 13th Edition. The 2003 printed 1,000 Guaranies are listed as P214, printed by Ciccone. Again this is incorrect. P214 from 2003 does not exist. No banknote from 2003 exists with the printer "Ciccone". P222’s correct year is 2003.

Peru: Mostly unchanged. The one change they did make is an error. The P-166 the date 01.03.2001 was added. But P-166 was printed by BABN, and the issue of 2001 was printed by FCO.

Philippines: P-154a decreases in value around $1 to $2. The same is true with P-155a which decreases to $4. P-159c loses 50 cents, now $1. P-160 increases in value $2.50. 50 cents downward for P-167a, to $2. P-176a and P-179a lose again 50 cents. P-194a (normal issue) sinks to $7 (From $10), P-194c (Arrovo) sinks to $12 ($20). Why? Has this error note suddenly become common after only one prefix was issued before it was withdrawn, and the rest destroyed by the bank? P-194b (signature 18 of 2005, 2006) goes to $9 ($7.50). Thus the current issues are higher in value then the older previous issues. Because of the UN year of the micro credit of 2004 I cannot discover the issues for intending to 20 Piso. 20 Piso are until 2005 admitted (as in the previous catalog). 50 Piso are until 2005 well-known and depending upon signature according to variants with P-193 are differentiated. 200 Piso: unchanged 500 Piso: 2005 added in the description. 1,000 Piso: 2005 become variety b and the years 2001 - 2004 variant a. Value for each is $40.

Poland: Unchanged except for the Pope John Paul II Commemorative has been added. The description reads as follows "16.10.2006. Light blue and yellow. Pope John Paul II. Portugal: All notes, in all trades increased slightly. In a few instances a little better, in each case UNC: P-167a $12 (From $5) P-175e $35 (From $25) P-179f $8 (From $4) P-182c $150 (From $90) P-186d $70 (From $35) P-189c $32.50 (From $20). P-189d, a "new" variety in that they have added a new date, 07.11.2000, value $37.50.

Portuguese Guinea: P-45a was listed in Edition 12 at $17.50 in UNC, now the value is $55.00! P-40a VG increases to $20 (from $10); P-43a VF $100 (from $70); P-44a unc $50 (from $17.50) P-46a VF $90 (from $40).

Qatar: Some small value increases: P-3a in unc goes from $32.50 to $40, P-9 goes to $15 from $12; P-14b $2 (from $1.25), P-22 $7 (from $6), P-24 $50 (from $45).

Qatar & Dubai: There are two value changes: P-1a in VG decreases to $5 (from $10), and in unc increases to $165 from $150..Everything else remains the same.

Russia: P276 in VG is now listed with a value of $15 (from FV), and in VF as $20 (from FV). P227 is listed in VG at $25 (from FV), in VF at $35 (from FV), and in UNC $70.00 (from $65). Curiously these banknotes are current series, so why not “face value” as they normally do. Naturally they do not list the Series 2001 except for the 10 Rublei. The FX banknote listing is chaos. They have placed the military banknotes inbetween the FX banknotes. After P-FX74, P-M10 through P-M24 follows, and then P-FX80 follows. P-274 (50 Rubles 2004) - they show the image of Ecuador P-128c (5.000 Sucres 1999) with front and back side.

Rwanda: Absolutely nothing has changed. P21 is distinguished with the fantacy value of $20.00, and P22 with the value of $60.00. The 100 Francs of 01.09.2003 are not listed, and the 5,000 of 2004 is still not listed.

Rwanda-Burundi: P-1a has increased in value (VG $15, VF $55, unc $225), P-1b has increased (VG ($17,50, VF $65, unc $275), P-2 has increased (XF $240). P-3 has increased (G $25, F $90, XF $350), P-4 has increased (G $22,50, F $85, XF $325), P-5 has changed (XF $225), P-6 increases (G $225, F $850, XF $2,000), and P-7a, also increases in value and becomes (G $180, F $750, XF $1,750).

St Helena: Values have increased. P-5a is evaluated now with $30 (from $27.50), P-11a with $35 (from $30), P-13a is up to $110 (from $100).

St Pierre & Miquelon: Starting from P-31 there are value increases. P33 is now increased to $425 (from $275), P34 has gone from $375 to $700.

St Thomas and Prince: Now listed are the 2004 issues. However only into the description, so that the 1996 and 2004 series form a common variety, which is differentiated according to whether the note has one, or two security strips. An exception to this is the 5,000 note of 2004. Concerning the prices, completely unchanged.

Saudi Arabia: P-29 went to $50.00 from $45.00, P-30 is now $200 (was $185), otherwise unchanged. For P22b, and P23b they have not listed the more common Signature 6, but for P21b they have listed the Signature 6.

Scotland: Various value increases. A few few examples: P-105a $60 (From $50), P-197 $70 ($60), P-215c $425 ($400), P-270 $250 ($225), P-329a $50 ($40). One change in the 2005, and also the 2006 issues. The issue for the Clydesdale Bank P-229A through P-229F are listed with a value only in UNC, and FV for the circulated issues giving the impression that the circulated grades have no collectible value for a country where all of it’s notes are highly collectible. The 5 Pound note, P-364 (500 years college of Surgeons) went from $15 to $17 while the flaunted Jack Best note remains unchanged.

Serbia: Unchanged

Seychelles: The P-14a decreases in value from $100 to $65, but the circulated grades remain unchanged. P-16c decreases in value in the VF grade to $60 (From $75), and UNC to $300 (from $375). The P-36 is now $5 (from $6); P-40 has decreased to $45 (from $47.50); P41, the 500 is newly listed with a value of $150 in UNC. The 5 of 2005 remains unlisted.

Sierra Leone: For P-23 and P-24 now the 2003 issues are known, but only written with year, not the full date (2003 instead 03.03.2003). No other changes.

Singapore: The Orchid Series, P-7 drops to $1,000 from $1,500, P-8A increases to $13,000 (from $12,500), the bird series remains unchanged up to P-18 which lists a value only in UNC. P-29a has increased to $350 (from $250), and P29x to $380 (from $300). P-33 has increased to $60 (from $55), and P49 (50 Dollars 2006 is now listed with a value of $50. No other changes notes.

Slovakia: The P-20c is now listed with the additional date of 06.09.2004. P34 through P43 (except P42 now has images. No other changes noted.

Slovenia: P-B1 is listed as a "50 (Tolarjev)", yet the image clearly shows that the notes denomination is a 0.50 Tolarjev note. P-32a is now also with the dates 15.01.2004, and 15.01.2005, P-34a is now with the date 15.01.2004. Everything else remains unchanged.

Solomon Islands: With P-14a they forgot to include the value. It is, however, very probable that it remained the same at $5. P-6 - P-12 rose slightly, the same with P-23 ($2,50 instead of $2). Otherwise unchanged.

Somalia: Completely unchanged.

Somaliland: Completely unchanged. No new entries, especially what about the mysterious 1.000 Shillings? Maybe some years later we’ll find a note…Some regular issues from 2002 and 2005 are missed.

South Africa: No Change

Spain: Values increased: P-150 ($15 from $9), P-151 ($110 from $60), P-152 ($7,50 from $5), P-153 ($50 from $40), P-154 ($50 from $40), P-155 $200 (from $120), P-156 ($20 from $15), P-157 ($25 from $17,50), P-158 ($35 from $27,50), P-159 ($55 from $45), P-160 ($110 from $80), P-161 ($175 from $140), P-162 ($45 from $40), P-163 ($25 from $17,50), P-165 ($90 from $75) and P-166 ($160 from $130). The missing note, P-164, has now been listed. In unc the value is $30, and in VF $8.00.

Sri Lanka: Unchanged, no update.

Sudan: P-26 has increased in value to $17.50 (from $15). P-57 is now listed as variety a. (7-digit serial number, with embedded security strip), and b. (8-digit serial number, with segmented security strip). The value is unchanged, $8.00. P-60 is listed in the description as being dated 2002, however it is clearly seen in the image that it is 1998. In actuality P-60 is P57a because it has a 7-digit serial number and no segmented security strip. The only difference is the value, $8 vs. $12.50. The same is true with the P61 which is shown with a note that has a 7-digit serial number. The date is 1998, however in the description it is listed with the date of 2003. The new pound notes are not listed.

Suriname: Completely unchanged which means that (1) The note P-129 still refers to the old catalog number P39. (2) The date 1998 is still not included with P-139. (3) In regular life the Series 2000 will getting more and more expensive.

Swaziland: No Change

Sweden: P-63b now lists the date 2005, P-67 and P-68 (50 Kronor 2006 and 100 Kronor 2006, which were listed as "expected new issue" in the 12th Edition have now been removed. No additional changes were noted.

Switzerland: In the page header they have continued Sweden rather then changing it to Switzerland. In the Signature Table, Signature 73 has been left blank. Previously Signature 73 has been Belser and Blattner (only Belser was shown). Signatures 74 through 77 they have omitted the second names. As to the notes, P-45b now has three subvarieties: b., dated 20.10.1955 (Signatures 34, 36, and 37); b2 is listed twice with 29.11.1956 (Signatures 34, 37, and 38). They have also listed variety c with the date 29.11.1956, so there is no indication as to the difference between varieties the two b2’s, and c. As to what happened to varieties d through g, and the other dates, they have eliminated them from the catalog. As for the current issues, P-67 is listed, but only with variety a., P69 is unchanged. The P71b is now listed with the year 2004, but they did not assign a value.

Syria: Some small value changes P-102b now $10 (from $8), c. $7 ($6), d. $5 ($4) and e $4 ($3). P-103a is now $30 (from $25), c $12 ($10), d $7 ($6) and e $6 ($5). P-104b is now $30 (from $25), c $17,50 ($15) and d $9 ($7). P-105c is now $80 (from $65), d $70 ($55), e $45 ($40), and f $35 ($30). No other changes were noted. The two varieties with the small map in the reverse are not yet listed.

Tahiti: The sharp increases in value for the P-14 cannot be accounted for between the 12th Edition and the new 13th Edition: a. $300 from $70; b. $250 from $60, c. $225 from $40; d. $200 from $30.00. These values are all given in XF. Perhaps they meant to value the notes in UNC which would make more sense. P21 has almost tripled and is now $50 in UNC, P23 is unchanged, P24 doubles in value in UNC. Also P-25 has increased, d. is now $35 (from $15), and thus it continues up through P28.

Tajikistan: P-5 $1,50 (from $1), P-6 $2 ($1), P-7 $3 ($1.50), P-8 $4 ($2), P-9 $5 ($2.50). P-10 and P-11 ever $1 ($0.50), P-12 $2 ($0.75). Everything else is unchanged even though, in many cases, the exchange rate is much higher then the catalog value which is given.

Tanzania: No Change

Tatarstan: No Change

Thailand: The Signature Chart remains unchanged and still contains the Brazil signature of Pedro Malan for Signature 62. P-87 sinks to $1.25 (from $1.50), P-88 to $2 (from $3), P-89 to $6 (from $8), P-90b to $3 (from $5). The square note, P-93, is only valued $4 (down from $7), to P-101 down to $40 (from $60). And this continues up to P-112 with the 50 Baht 2004 valued at $2 instead of $4. P-113 - P-115 are simply missing now. They were the 100 Baht 2004, 100 Baht 2005 and 1,000 Baht.

Timor: No Change

Tonga: Unchanged. First they do not have a signature chart for Tonga, then under P31 through 36 they have signatures N-D, and U-F, etc., etc.? Is this a new signature numbering system?

Transnistria: No Change

Trinidad & Tobago: No Change

Tunisia: Unchanged. Unlisted is the new 10 Dinars from 2005, the blue one with "Eivissa".

Turkey: Some value increases: P-186 $5 (From $4), P-188 $2 ($1.75), P-191 $20 ($10), P-196A $35 ($25), P-199 $10 ($5), P-201 $9 ($7), P-206 $4 ($2), P-10 $25 ($17.50), P-215 $45 ($37.50) as examples which begin with P-180. The current series remains unchanged. With P-196A ("small Sultan") they show the image of P-190 as front and reverse.

Turkmenistan: Unchanged. The multicolored series with Turkmenbaschi is unlisted.

Uganda: Some value increases: P-16 $2,50 (from $2.00), P-17 $7 ($5), P-19b $5 ($3.50), P-24a $30 ($27.50), P-27 and P-28 $1,50 ($1), P-35a $4 ($3), P-38b $22,50 ($17.50). With P-39 the year 2002 was removed. P-43 is shown in the picture, but: one shows the 2003 issue and not the 2005. For P-44 and P-46 they added the year 2005 and as description "multicolor". This word you can read for P-45 and P-46, too. No other changes for the current series.

Ukraine: For P-116 they know the years 2004 and 2005, with the description "multicolor" (value $1, no changes). For P-117 the years 2004 and 2005 have been added, value $2 (no changes). For P-118 the years 2004 and 2005 have been added, value $2.50 (no changes) For P-119 the years 2003, 2004 and 2005 have been added, value $4.50 (no changes). For P-120 the years 2003, 2004 and 2005 have been added, value $7.50 (no changes). For P-121 the years 2004 and 2005 have been added, value $20 (no changes). P-119 from 2003 and P-120 from 2004 don’t exist, also P-103b (1 Hryvnia 1992 with sign. 2) it doesn't exist in reality. All other newer banknotes (like 100 Hryven 2005) are unknown. The country's name is written as "Uganda" in site description.

United Arab Emirates: Some smaller value increases with various notes. Then we have some confusion with the catalog stating under the 2003-2004 Issue, "#26-28 Dallah (coffee pot) added to wmk area"? Then P26 is deleted, and P26 becomes P27, P27 becomes P28, and P28 becomes P29. There is not other change so why?

United States of America: Some minor value increases: P-497 $4 (from $3.50), P-499 $25 ($17.50), P-500 $40 ($27.50), and P-510 $10 ($8). P-516 becomes now listed as variety a. (2003), and b (2003A), the value drops to $7.50 (from $10). P-516 now becomes a. (2003), and b (2003A). P-519 now becomes a. (2003) and b (2003A). P-523 is new: 20 dollars 2006, worth $30. Why is the value higher than with P-521? P-524 is new: 50 dollars 2006. Worth $60. And P-525 is new: 100 dollars 2006, worth $120. In the military issues they have dropped the grade of XF. Values now only appear in VF, and UNC.

Editors Note: Once again the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money, has included the tokens, or rather "Pogs", in their catalog. Research indicates that these are produced by the Army and Air Force Exchange System (AAFEES) for use in their Post Exchanges, and concessions in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and are considered by AAFEES to be "gift certificates". It should also be considered that AAFEES is considered a Semi-Private Corporation, and is not part of the U.S. Military, nor the U.S. Government, thus they cannot be considered Military Currency. At best these "tokens" should be listed in a specialized catalog, and not included in a "Paper Money Catalog".

Uruguay: No Change

Uzbekistan: No Change

Vanuatu: No Change

Venezuela: Again P-63c ( CV $2.00) is not listed with the date 31.05.1990. The series prefix is X. Thus the other varieties continue to shift a letter. Again also P-66g is listed with the date 13.10.1998, and a value of $2. In P-92 also the date 25.04.2004 is incorrect. The month is not April, but June, thus 25.05.2004. The prefix range is from A to F. The first issue from 25.02.2000 has indeed serial prefix A, but the newest banknote (from 25.05.2005) has serial prefix F.

Viet Nam: P-105 - P-107 have now two varieties: a. is small serial digits, and b is large serial digits. 105a is $1, and b is $5; 106a is $1,50 and b $5, and 107a is $2 and b $5. Otherwise no changes. Once again the issues for the 10.000, 20,000 and 200,000 Dong are missing. But they have now listed the polymer notes with Specimens, however no values are given.

Zimbabwe: The 13th Edition has failed to list any of the Bearer Cheques past the 2003 issues. There are some changes in the catalog though. In the old catalog the date was written for P-22d, P-23d, and P-23e as "12.31.2004". Now it's written as 31.12.2004, which is correct. However, in the text in the watermark - it's RBZ and not RZB! The abbreviation means RESERVE BANK OF ZIMBABWE and not RESERVE ZIMBABWE OF BANK.
