22 AUG, 2007 - Malawi: We now have images for the new dates for the Malawi P44 20 Kwacha 22.10.2006; P45 50 Kwacha 22.10.2006; P46 100 Kwacha 22.10.2005. Compliments of Andrew Roberts.

09 Aug, 2007 - Malawi: A new date of 31 Oct 2006 has been reported for the 20 Kwacha note, and 31 Oct, 2005 for the 100 Kwacha note. Both notes are similar to previous issue and the signature is number 10. Compliments of Nazir Rahemtulla.

14 Mar, 2007 - Malawi: New dates of 1.3.2004, and 1.12.2005 have been reported for the Malawi 5 Kwacha notes. Notes bear Sign.9, Gov. E.E. Ngalande (May be viewed in our Catalog Update Section), and is similar to P36. Of special interest is the fact that the 5 and 10 Kwacha notes are being replaced by coins, and the 2005 5 Kwacha note only circulated for three months before being replaced by a coin. 03 Feb, 2007 - Malawi: A Historical Overview of the Reserve Bank of Malawi to include a listing of banknote signers. Compliments of Your People in Africa.

03 Feb, 2007 - Malawi: A previously unreported date of 1 April 2004 has appeared on the 20 Kwacha banknote of Malawi. This is unusual since the Reserve Bank of Malawi usually issues it's notes with dates in June. Compliments of Your People in Africa.

05 Nov, 2006 - A New Malawi 5 Kwacha note, dated 1.12.2005 has been reported along with a new signature combination. The new signature was previously reported by Nicolas Reynolds, but this image shows it better and is shown along side of the 2004 signature. Compliments of Andrew Roberts.

05 Nov, 2006 - The Malawi P51 200 Kwacha 1.6.2004 is listed in the SCWPM, VOL III, 12th Ed., but is lacking an image. Image compliments of Andrew Roberts.
