05 Jul, 2007 - Latvia: As previously reported on 05 Jun, The Bank of Latvia has issued a new 20 Lati 2007 banknote similar to the previous issue (P45). We now have an image compliments of Thomas Krause. * Considering the exchange rate, the catalog value assigned in the SCWPM, VOL III, 13th Edtiion for the P45 20 Lati 2004 note of $32.50 is unrealistic, thus we have assigned an estimated catalog value of $70.00-75.00 for this new note.

05 Jun, 2007 - The Bank of Latvia has issued a new 20 Lati 2007 banknote similar to the previous issue (P45) bearing the new signature as appears on the 2007 100 Lati note. No image is available at this time. Compliments of Claudio Marana.

19 May, 2007 - The Bank of Latvia has issued a new 100 Lats 2007 banknotes similar to it's previous issue (P47). Compliments of Cleo Phas.

28 Aug, 2006 - With a current exchange rate of 1 Lati = $1.81990 the catalog values given in the SCWPM, VOL III, 12th Ed of P49 5 Lati $10.00 (FV: $9.10); P50 10 Latu $17.50 (FV: $18.20); P51 20 Latu $32.50 (FV: $36.40) the catalog values are unrealistic.
