25 Aug, 2007 - Australia: A report indicates that Australia has now released to circulation 2006 dates of the P58 10 Dollar note. Considering the high Face Value of the note we feel that the Catalog Value of $10.00 listed in the SCWPM, VOL 3, 13th Ed is incorrect. The value of $18-20 is more appropriate. 20 Aug, 2007 - Australia: A report indicates that Australia has now released to circulation 2006 dates of the P57 5 Dollar note. Compliments of Kai.


08 Jul, 2007 - Australia: Once again we have to report the appearance of Doctored Banknotes on eBay. This time it is four notes of Australia being offered by eBay ID: so-bz, which is a new eBay ID for u2bid21 out of Singapore. u2bid21 appears to be the primary source for these doctored notes, purchasing notes in lesser condition, treating them, and pressing them, then offering them as higher grade notes. 25 Jun, 2007 - Australia: We now have confirmation that the Australian $5 2006 has been released. It has the same signatures as current $10, $20 and $50 notes. Compliments of Kai.

15 Jun, 2007 - Australia: Once again we have to report the appearance of Doctored Banknotes on eBay. This time it is four notes of Australia being offered by eBay ID: Dubrovnik-Notaphilie of Croatia.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS BY KAI: $5 - polymer first issue in 1992. Prefix nos for this issue was not printed in such a way that it follows by the 2 digits year after the 2 letters ie AA25 or AB16 etc. Then another print was run in 1993 and this time they adpoted the year ie AA93 etc. The colour of this note caused some confusing with the 1994 $10 issues. In 1995 a new recoloured $5 was issued (P51)
